This market asks whether the average US regular gas price according to the American Automotive Association (AAA) will fall below $4.000 by April 8, 2022. If the average US regular gas price according to AAA is $3.999 or lower (i.e. less than $4.000) on any day between the date of this market's inception March 17 and April 8, 2022 (inclusive) this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be information from the American Automotive Association (AAA), presently found here: https://gasprices.aaa.com/. Specifically, the cell under "Regular" and for the row "Current Avg." will be checked at 8 PM ET daily. If the URL for gas prices as determined by AAA changes, the resolution URL will change. If the resolution source is unavailable on the resolution date, the source will be checked 24 hours later, specifically "Yesterday Avg.", and if still unavailable, another credible source will be used such as https://www.gasbuddy.com/.
