No player has completed a men's Calendar Grand Slam—all four majors in one year—since Rod Laver in 1969, predating the Open Era, underscoring the feat's extreme rarity amid tennis's deepened field and surface diversity. Trader consensus at 89% for "None" in 2026 reflects this history, plus the grueling progression from Australian Open hard courts to Roland Garros clay, Wimbledon grass, and US Open hard courts, where injuries and fatigue routinely derail contenders. Carlos Alcaraz's 11.3% share stems from his versatile prowess—four majors by age 21, including 2024 French Open and Wimbledon triumphs—but competition from Jannik Sinner (two 2024 majors) and an aging Novak Djokovic tempers optimism. Realistic challenges require Alcaraz injury-free dominance, rival setbacks, or an unforeseen breakout star.
