Trader consensus on Polymarket prices a 56% implied probability for the Austin metro median home value falling below $415,000 on April 30, per Parcl Labs Sales Price Index adjusted for 2,100 square feet median size, reflecting persistent downward momentum from elevated inventory and weakening demand. Recent February data showed Zillow's Home Value Index at $424,642 for Austin-Round Rock, down 5.9% year-over-year, while Parcl indicates a steeper -7.6% drop year-to-date, centering near the $410,000–$415,000 range amid 91 days on market—the longest since 2011—and rising listings to over 12,000. March reports signal modest stabilization in median sales around $436,000 but no rebound, with buyers gaining leverage; spring demand could test this trajectory ahead of resolution.
