Trader consensus strongly favors no change in the People's Bank of China's benchmark rates by September 30, reflecting steady economic data on growth, inflation, and liquidity conditions that have reduced pressure for immediate easing or tightening. Recent indicators show moderate expansion without acute weakness in manufacturing or exports, while authorities continue targeted support for the property sector and domestic demand through other channels. With no major policy meetings or data releases scheduled to force action in the narrow window, implied probabilities align with historical patterns of infrequent adjustments absent clear catalysts. Sharp deterioration in employment figures, unexpected capital outflows, or fresh external shocks could still prompt a shift, though current conditions point to continuity.
