The Odyssey holds the clearest edge in the 2027 Best Original Score market at 48.5% implied probability, driven by its July 2026 release and Ludwig Göransson’s acclaimed, experimental score for Christopher Nolan’s epic, which blends ancient Greek instruments, layered gongs, and synthesizers while earning strong critical notice. Dune: Part Three follows at 15.5% on Hans Zimmer’s franchise return and expected orchestral sweep. Project Hail Mary, Disclosure Day, and The Black Ball trail further back, reflecting early-stage uncertainty before full guild voting and additional major releases sharpen the field. Traders are watching precursor awards and final mixes to separate frontrunners in this wide-open category.
