This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season and NCAA Tournament with the highest assists per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest assists per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official NCAA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to NCAA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 Men’s NCAA Division 1 Basketball season is cancelled, postponed after April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the NCAA (ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1).Jeremy Fears Jr.'s national-leading 9.4 assists per game across 35 outings for Michigan State, including record-setting NCAA Tournament performances like 16 assists against Louisville, solidifies his 98.3% implied probability as APG leader. Recent All-American honors from the John R. Wooden Award and CBS Sports this week highlight his elite playmaking and 3.86 assist-to-turnover ratio, outpacing Purdue's Braden Smith (8.8 APG) by 0.6. With Michigan State's Sweet 16 exit and challengers like Smith eliminated, his stat line is locked. Final Four participants (Michigan, Arizona, UConn, Illinois) lack top distributors, but explosive 15+ APG outputs over semis and championship could theoretically close the gap.
