Philadelphia Phillies hold a slim edge as back-to-back NL East champions with their core intact after re-signing Kyle Schwarber and J.T. Realmuto, though an aging lineup and early injuries like Zack Wheeler's blood clot raise questions about sustaining 95-win form. New York Mets sit close behind following an aggressive offseason rebuild, acquiring Bo Bichette amid projections tying them at 90 wins with Atlanta, positioning them as serious threats in a refreshed roster. Atlanta Braves trail slightly due to a battered rotation—Spencer Strider sidelined with an oblique strain on the injured list, plus Hurston Waldrep and Spencer Schwellenbach out post-elbow surgery—despite Opening Day wins across the division keeping the race bunched early. Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins lag far behind in rebuild mode. Trader consensus reflects this volatile three-way battle shaped by health, continuity, and projections.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
