Scotland's favored trader consensus at 68.5% implied probability in this ICC CWC League 2 ODI stems from their second-place standing with 30 points and superior +0.925 NRR after 24 matches, compared to Oman's fourth position on 24 points from 20 outings and +0.057 NRR. Dominating the head-to-head ledger 6-1 with two no-results—including an 8-wicket rout of Oman last July when the hosts crumbled for 91—the Scots boast batting firepower from George Munsey (277 runs vs Oman) and allrounder Brandon McMullen, backed by Mark Watt's spin threat. Oman's bowling spearhead Bilal Khan poses upset potential on Windhoek's batting-friendly Wanderers pitch (average first innings 260, 68% chasing wins), but a delayed start due to wet outfield adds uncertainty amid the tri-series resumption.
