Gujarat Titans host Rajasthan Royals in an early IPL 2026 showdown at Narendra Modi Stadium, a batting paradise where high scores dominate due to true bounce and short boundaries, though pacers like GT's Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj could exploit early swing. With the season just underway—no prior matches played—trader consensus hinges on GT's home advantage and 6-2 head-to-head edge, bolstered by Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan's sharp practice form, despite Jos Buttler's spin woes and Rashid Khan's occasional extravagance. RR, captained by Riyan Parag sans Sanju Samson, lean on Jofra Archer's pace, but face dew-aided chases favoring the toss winner; Prasidh Krishna's doubtful availability adds uncertainty to GT's attack.
