Delhi Capitals host Mumbai Indians in IPL 2026's 8th match on April 4 at batsman-friendly Arun Jaitley Stadium, where high scores and chasing teams often prevail amid flat pitches and potential dew. DC, captained by Axar Patel, enter with a balanced attack featuring Kuldeep Yadav's middle-overs spin and T Natarajan's death bowling, bolstered by KL Rahul's top-order stability and finishers David Miller and Tristan Stubbs—though Mitchell Starc misses early games for workload management, and KL Rahul carries niggle risks. MI, led by Hardik Pandya, counter with Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult's pace firepower plus middle-overs spin control from Mitchell Santner, backed by Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma's explosive batting. Head-to-head favors MI recently (4-1 in last five), but DC's home edge and toss could tilt probabilities in this pre-playoff tone-setter.
