In the Bucharest Open round-of-32 clash on clay, No. 84 Alexander Shevchenko holds an edge in ATP experience over local wildcard No. 658 Radu David Turcanu, but trader consensus prices reflect a closely contested matchup near even odds. Shevchenko arrives with momentum from upsetting No. 14 Ben Shelton in Miami's second round last week before a third-round exit to Ugo Humbert, though his career ATP clay record stands at 17-23. Turcanu, a 20-year-old lefty, leverages strong clay form at ITF level (66% win rate, 58-30 career) and roaring home-crowd support in this first head-to-head, posing upset potential despite limited top-tier exposure. No injuries reported; weather expected mild for outdoor play.
