Arizona's slight edge in trader consensus at 19.4% stems from coach Tommy Lloyd's elite 2025 recruiting class, including top-10 prospects like Dwayne Aristode, paired with significant returning production from K.J. Lewis and others, positioning them for Big 12 dominance. Michigan (18.5%) and Duke (16.5%) trail closely due to Dusty May's transfer portal wizardry bolstering Michigan's frontcourt and Duke's perennial pipeline of McDonald's All-Americans under Jon Scheyer, though both face roster flux from the offseason portal. Florida and Houston round out the top five with defensive identities and SEC/Big 12 toughness, but parity persists amid unproven freshmen integration, transfer acclimation, and the wide-open nature of March Madness paths—no dominant superteam has emerged to pull away.
