Tame Impala’s “Loser” holds overwhelming market-implied odds for the #2 U.S. Spotify spot this week due to its explosive recent momentum, including sharp week-over-week stream gains exceeding 2.6 million daily plays and a rapid climb into the top five on U.S. charts. Strong playlist rotation, sustained global #1 runs with multi-million daily streams, and consistent fan-driven velocity have outpaced competitors like Steve Lacy’s “Oh Yeah?” and Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings.” With the weekly chart locking imminently, only an unforeseen late surge from a rival track or abrupt algorithmic shift could realistically produce an upset before final tallies close.
