Incumbent Democrat Greg Landsman secured his party's nomination in the May 5 primary and now faces Republican Eric Conroy, the Trump-endorsed winner of the GOP primary, in the November 3 general election for Ohio's 1st Congressional District. Recent mid-decade redistricting incorporated additional rural southwest Ohio counties, shifting the seat's partisan voting index to lean Republican by a narrow margin and creating a more competitive landscape than in prior cycles. Landsman's established incumbency, fundraising edge, and primary performance underpin the market's assessment of Democratic strength, while Conroy's outsider profile and national endorsement represent the main Republican path to an upset in this battleground race.
