Reds' rotation remains depleted after placing Rhett Lowder on the 15-day IL with shoulder pain on May 13 and Brady Singer out until at least May 17 with a foot injury, prompting a signing of veteran Chris Paddack; key absences also include Hunter Greene (60-day IL) and Emilio Pagán (hamstring). Phillies hold home-field advantage amid a 7-3 stretch in their last 10 despite a sub-.500 NL East record, but bullpen depth is tested by IL stints for Kyle Backhus (elbow), Zach Pop (calf), and Max Lazar (oblique), with Trea Turner day-to-day due to illness.
