PAN leads trader expectations for second place in Mexico's 2027 legislative elections because recent national polls show the party maintaining the strongest position among opposition forces behind dominant Morena. Fragmented opposition coalitions from prior cycles have not consolidated, leaving PAN, MC, and PRI to compete separately for remaining seats in the Chamber of Deputies and Senate under the mixed electoral system. PVEM and PT, aligned with the ruling coalition, trail in standalone polling but could draw votes that indirectly affect opposition rankings. No major shifts from candidate announcements, coalition talks, or legislative actions have altered these standings in the past month, with voter intention surveys continuing to place PAN ahead of other non-Morena parties.
