Morgan Stanley holds a narrow lead in Polymarket trader consensus for lead underwriter on Anthropic’s planned IPO, with Goldman Sachs close behind, reflecting their June 2026 selection as the primary bookrunners for the potential $60 billion-plus offering. Anthropic’s confidential S-1 filing in early June and its $965 billion private valuation from the May Series H round underscore the deal’s scale, intensifying competition for the lead-left designation that commands the largest fee share and prestige. Market-implied odds capture this tight contest amid overlapping syndicates also involving JPMorgan, with resolution likely hinging on final prospectus positioning ahead of an October target. Trader sentiment factors in both banks’ dominant tech-IPO track records and the need to stagger bookbuilding with rival OpenAI’s parallel process.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
