**Kyle Pitts has opened the 2026 NFL season with zero receiving touchdowns through four games, totaling just five catches for 67 yards on nine targets while operating in a limited role behind wide receiver Drake London and amid Atlanta’s run-heavy attack featuring Bijan Robinson.** The 26-year-old tight end, coming off a 2025 campaign of 88 receptions, 928 yards, and five touchdowns that earned second-team All-Pro honors, has seen reduced route participation and snap counts early on, with much of his usage focused on blocking. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr.’s return has boosted the offense overall, yet targets remain scarce in the passing game. A recent uptick to three catches for 47 yards in Week 4 offered modest encouragement, but the Falcons’ scheme and competition for looks in the red zone continue to constrain his scoring opportunities. Factors that could shift totals include increased target share, favorable matchups, or scheme adjustments as the season progresses.
