The Chicago Cubs hold a clear edge entering their upcoming series against the San Francisco Giants at Wrigley Field, bolstered by a stronger 32-28 record compared to the Giants’ 24-38 mark. Cubs starter Ben Brown’s 1.92 ERA anchors the rotation against Giants right-hander Robbie Ray, whose 4.45 ERA reflects ongoing struggles. Home-field factors, including Wrigley’s dimensions and crowd, historically favor Chicago, while the Giants’ road woes and NL West standing limit their momentum. Recent roster stability for both clubs leaves pitching matchups and bullpen depth as primary variables that could shift outcomes in the three-game set.
