The tightly bunched implied probabilities among Martin Ødegaard, Liberato Cacace, Simon Adingra, Kaoru Mitoma, and a broad group of other creators reflect the wide-open nature of the assist race heading into the 2026 FIFA World Cup. No single player holds a clear edge because national-team roles, starting XI status, and match minutes remain fluid this far from the tournament, with many candidates sharing comparable club form, set-piece responsibilities, and creative profiles across qualifying campaigns. Recent international windows and domestic league performances have not produced decisive separation, leaving traders viewing the outcome as highly dependent on draw position, tactical setups, and injury resilience once the group stage begins.
