**Flavio Bolsonaro maintains a commanding position in Santa Catarina polling for the October 2026 first-round presidential vote.** Multiple surveys from August 2026, including Quaest, show him at 45% against Lula at 20%, with remaining candidates such as Renan Santos, Romeu Zema, Ronaldo Caiado, and Augusto Cury each below 5%. Earlier June–July polling placed him in the 47–52% range with similar gaps. Santa Catarina’s voting patterns from the 2022 election, where Jair Bolsonaro secured over 62% in the first round, align with current trader consensus reflected in the 97.3% implied probability. Late shifts remain possible if another right-leaning contender consolidates support or turnout dynamics change, though recent data indicate limited movement among undecided voters.
