Flávio Bolsonaro maintains a commanding position in Paraná first-round polling, with recent state surveys showing him at 44% compared to Lula's 30%, reflecting the state's consistent preference for conservative candidates tied to Jair Bolsonaro's political movement. As a PL senator from the broader right-wing coalition, his campaign has emphasized continuity with that base, including endorsements and policy alignment on security and economic issues that resonate in southern Brazil. Other contenders, including Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and smaller-party names, register low single digits in the same data, limiting fragmentation on the right. National trends remain closer, but Paraná's electoral dynamics have kept trader consensus heavily weighted toward Bolsonaro. Late shifts in turnout, unexpected alliances, or broader economic developments could still narrow the margin before the October 4 vote.
