In the ATP Challenger Santa Cruz de la Sierra quarterfinals on clay, trader consensus slightly favors third-seeded Peruvian Gonzalo Bueno (ATP 187) at 56% implied probability over Chilean Matias Soto (ATP 304), driven by Bueno's higher ranking, recent straight-sets win over Francisco Coria (6-4, 6-1), and strong clay win rate despite a grueling three-setter against Gonzalo Villanueva. Soto counters with a perfect tournament run—no sets dropped in victories over Mariano Kestelboim (7-5, 6-1) and Guido Justo (6-2, 6-3)—bolstered by a 20-8 clay record this season, including a Bucaramanga Challenger title, and a 1-0 head-to-head edge on the surface from 2024. No injury concerns reported pre-match; outcome hinges on clay baseline endurance and break-point conversion in Bolivia's high-altitude conditions.
