Israel’s Knesset completed its full four-year term and formally dissolved on July 17, 2026, setting legislative elections for the scheduled date of October 27—the first such on-time vote since 1992. Coalition leaders opted against advancing the timetable despite earlier discussion of a September date, and party primaries plus candidate-list deadlines are now proceeding on the established calendar. No new legislation or court rulings have altered the timeline in recent weeks, and polling and campaign activity continue without indications of further dissolution or postponement. These procedural steps underpin the strong trader consensus reflected in current market pricing.
