Recent polling consistently places Futuro Nazionale ahead of Lega, with the newer party reaching 7.6% in July YouTrend surveys while Lega remains near 5-6%. Founded in February 2026 after Roberto Vannacci split from Lega, Futuro Nazionale has rapidly built membership exceeding 130,000 and drawn support from nationalist voters dissatisfied with the governing coalition's positions on immigration, EU policy, and foreign affairs. Multiple surveys since June, along with local election results showing organizational gains, have sustained this lead into August 2026. Traders assign an implied 78.5% probability to Futuro Nazionale finishing ahead in the general election due no later than December 2027, reflecting these persistent voting intention trends and limited signs of Lega recovery.
