Avengers: Doomsday commands a dominant 75.5% market-implied probability for the biggest opening week of 2026 due to its December 18 release positioning it as a year-end event film, bolstered by Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans reprising key roles alongside expanded X-Men and Fantastic Four elements in a long-awaited MCU team-up. Industry tracking reports strong early momentum and insider polls naming it the likely top global earner, reflecting anticipation after a six-year Avengers hiatus. Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows at 18.5% with its July 31 slot and Tom Holland-led new chapter, while Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey benefits from July 17 IMAX buzz and an all-star cast at 4.8%. Earlier releases like The Super Mario Galaxy Movie face stiffer family-market competition, leaving limited room for shifts absent major tracking updates or release adjustments.
