This market will resolve according to the median home value for all property types in the San Francisco Metro area on September 30, 2026. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. The resolution source will be official data from the Parcl Labs Sales Price Index for the San Francisco Metro area (Parcl_ID: 2900336). The settlement price will be calculated by multiplying the published price index value (price per square foot) by 1700 square feet, which is the median home size in the San Francisco Metro area. Parcl is set to publish this data on September 30, 2026. If no data for September 30 is released by October 10, 2026, 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve according to the most recently published data. (see: https://app.parcllabs.com/prediction-market-resolutions/52)**Current Zillow data places the San Francisco metro typical home value at $1,136,810 as of July 2026, up just 1.2% year-over-year and 0.3% month-over-month, keeping it comfortably below the $1.176 million threshold that commands 83% implied probability.** Median sale prices near $1.175 million reflect a seller’s market with homes moving in 17 days and selling 7.5% above list, yet inventory constraints and selective AI-driven demand have not produced the broad acceleration needed to push the index higher before month-end. Recent months show stable-to-modest gains rather than breakout momentum, while broader Bay Area single-family medians in core counties remain elevated but vary widely by segment. With resolution only weeks away, the market-implied odds align with the latest official home-value readings and limited near-term catalysts for a sharp reacceleration.
