Mohamed Salah’s March 2026 announcement that he will leave Liverpool at season’s end and become a free agent has anchored trader sentiment around a move to the Saudi Pro League. Heavy interest from Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, backed by record-breaking offers, has positioned the Saudi league as the clear frontrunner in the eyes of bettors. Reports of family discussions and MLS overtures have kept the Egyptian Premier League and MLS as plausible alternatives, though both trail significantly. Lower-probability outcomes such as the Süper Lig or La Liga reflect occasional rumors but lack the same confirmed momentum or financial pull. Recent form, age considerations at 33, and the league’s emphasis on high-profile signings continue to shape the implied probabilities reflected in current pricing.
