Corbin Carroll’s commanding position in the MLB triples race stems from his elite speed, gap power, and aggressive baserunning, which have produced a league-leading 16 triples—eight more than any other player with the regular season winding down. The Arizona outfielder has posted double-digit triples in each of his first four full seasons, including franchise records for the Diamondbacks, while combining that production with strong home-run and stolen-base totals. Trader consensus at 99.3% reflects the size of his cushion and limited remaining schedule. Late injuries or an unprecedented closing surge by a pursuer such as Otto Lopez or Jake McCarthy could theoretically narrow the gap, though the current margin makes significant movement improbable.
