Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leads the IPL 2026 Orange Cap race with 680 runs in 15 matches at a 242.85 strike rate, fueled by multiple explosive innings including 97 off 29 balls and 93 off 38 that propelled the Rajasthan Royals teenager past the field. His volume of runs at unprecedented pace for the format has shifted trader consensus toward the 15-year-old after he claimed the top spot in recent weeks. Gujarat Titans openers Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill remain close behind with over 600 runs each, benefiting from strong head-to-head form and their established partnership, though their steadier strike rates have kept them slightly behind in the latest updates. Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal trail significantly due to lower aggregates this season.
