If Tate is released on parole, bond, or any other condition that results in them leaving state custody, the market will resolve to "Yes". Temporary outings from prison for purposes such as testifying in court or before Congress, while still under the custody of correctional authorities, will not count as a release. Extradition or transfer to a different jurisdiction of custody will not qualify as a release from custody. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from government authorities or corrections departments; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Andrew Tate and his brother remain in U.S. federal custody in Miami after a September 9, 2026, magistrate judge ruling denied bail, citing flight risk from their international ties, dual citizenship, and history of travel despite limited U.S. connections. The decision came during extradition proceedings on UK charges of rape, sex trafficking, and related offenses spanning multiple years. UK authorities face a September 16 deadline to submit formal documentation supporting the request, with no extradition hearing date yet scheduled. Separate Romanian indictments on trafficking minors, money laundering, and related counts add procedural complexity, though no immediate extradition from the U.S. has been sought. The extradition process typically extends for months, with release hinging on court outcomes in either jurisdiction or successful appeals of the detention order.
