Punjab Kings hold a slight edge in trader consensus at 23.5% implied probability for the IPL 2026 title, fueled by their unbeaten streak and dominant 7-wicket chase against Mumbai Indians two days ago, where Shreyas Iyer (66 off 35) and Prabhsimran Singh (80 off 39) scripted history as the first team to achieve multiple milestones against MI. Royal Challengers Bengaluru trail closely at 22.0% as defending champions after their 2025 final win over PBKS, but a dramatic 6-wicket loss to Delhi Capitals yesterday—David Miller's last-over heroics—highlights vulnerabilities despite strong NRR. Rajasthan Royals (17.3%) round out the top trio atop the points table with consistent wins, keeping the race tight early in the league stage amid balanced squads from the December 2025 mini-auction and no major injury disruptions.
