Bryce Young has thrown for 1,268 yards and nine touchdowns with just two interceptions through four games in 2026, pacing near the top of the NFL in both categories while posting an 88.6 overall PFF grade. The Carolina Panthers quarterback has benefited from an improved offensive scheme under coordinator Brad Idzik, greater rhythm in progressions, and a strong connection with wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, who has drawn heavy targets amid injuries to Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. Carolina ranks among the league leaders in scoring despite a 2-2 record and faces a Week 5 bye before a Week 6 road matchup against the Eagles. Sustaining this efficiency will depend on continued pocket protection, McMillan’s availability, and how Young handles a tougher upcoming schedule that includes several strong defenses.
