Eva Bennemann enters the ITF W15 Merzig semifinal as the clear favorite against Tamila Gadamauri, driven by her superior WTA ranking near No. 326 compared to Gadamauri’s No. 584. The 18-year-old German has compiled a solid 2026 record on clay and benefits from competing on home soil in this $15,000 event. Gadamauri, a 21-year-old Belgian, has posted convincing wins in the draw, including straight-sets victories over Polina Leykina and Jolie Angelique Abendroth, but faces a significant step up in opponent quality. Both players have recent ITF clay experience, with Bennemann’s higher ranking and consistent results reflecting greater overall depth that shapes the strong market consensus in her favor.
