Stefan Adrian Andreescu, the higher-ranked Romanian at around No. 562 with a career high of 513, faces Bulgarian teenager Anas Mazdrashki, ranked near 860-904, in the M15 Curtea de Arges semifinal on outdoor clay. Andreescu benefits from home-country support and stronger overall experience on the surface, while Mazdrashki has shown solid recent form by advancing through earlier rounds with straight-set and three-set wins. The matchup pits the local player's ranking edge and clay familiarity against the younger contender's momentum in this lower-tier ITF event. No prior head-to-head exists, and both reached the semifinals via consistent results in the draw, making surface adaptation and physical freshness key variables on the slow clay courts.
