In the Copa Colsanitas qualifying final on Bogota's high-altitude clay courts, trader consensus favored Argentina's Jazmin Ortenzi (WTA #223, seeded 6) over Armenia's Elina Avanesyan (#335) based on Ortenzi's higher ranking, even 4-4 YTD record, and commanding 6-2, 6-0 first-round rout of local wildcard Mariana Higuita Barraza, signaling strong clay adaptation. Avanesyan, slumping from her 2025 peak of #36 with a 4-6 YTD mark and mixed recent clay results like early Antalya and Merida exits, still notched a solid 7-5, 6-2 upset over seed 7 Caroline Werner. No head-to-head history or injury concerns; altitude favors baseline grinders like Ortenzi amid both players' qualifier momentum.
