No. 16 seed Iva Jovic holds a significant ranking edge over No. 97 Alycia Parks entering their Credit One Charleston Open round-of-32 clash on green clay, bolstered by a first-round bye that leaves the 18-year-old American fresh after strong hard-court showings like her Miami upset of Paula Badosa. Parks fought back from a set-and-break deficit to defeat Mary Stoiana 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 late Monday in her main-draw opener, showcasing her powerful serve but raising fatigue concerns on short turnaround. Jovic leads their lone head-to-head 1-0; trader consensus reflects Jovic's form, rest advantage, and clay transition momentum amid both players' solid early-2026 records devoid of injury issues.
