In the Credit One Charleston Open Round of 32 on green clay, No. 40 Sara Bejlek faces qualifier Akasha Urhobo, reflecting trader consensus on Bejlek's superior WTA experience and 9-3 2026 record against Urhobo's No. 273 ranking and limited main-draw exposure. Urhobo enters with momentum from four straight-sets qualifying triumphs over Whitney Osuigwe and Elvina Kalieva, plus a 7-5, 3-0 retirement win over Solana Sierra in R64—her first tour-level main-draw victory—bolstering upset potential amid home-crowd support. Bejlek, a lefty with strong clay credentials (career 6-5 WTA clay), received a bye and seeks to extend her solid early-season form post-Miami exit; no injuries reported for either, with stylistic matchup favoring Bejlek's consistency over Urhobo's aggressive qualifier surge.
