Tampa Bay Lightning hold a stronger Atlantic Division standing at 44-21-5 compared to Boston Bruins' 40-24-8, driving trader consensus toward the home side in this key late-season matchup at Amalie Arena, fueled by Tampa's elite goals against (2.8 per game) and top-four penalty kill (82.3%). However, significant Lightning injuries loom large: Victor Hedman sidelined with illness on IR, Brandon Hagel out, Scott Sabourin unavailable, and Maxwell Crozier on long-term IR, testing depth against a Bruins squad riding a one-game win streak and 5-2-3 form over their last 10. Boston eyes exploitation of Tampa's absences in this rivalry tilt with playoff positioning implications, amid both teams' solid recent momentum.
