Philadelphia Phillies enter the series finale at Coors Field holding a 1-0 edge after a dominant 10-1 rout in Colorado's home opener on April 3, sparked by a seven-run first inning featuring Brandon Marsh's three-run homer and Aaron Nola's efficient six innings. Jesús Luzardo takes the mound for Philadelphia seeking to rebound from a rough outing against Texas, facing Rockies prospect Chase Dollander in the bulk role amid Colorado's rotation thinned by Jose Quintana's recent 15-day IL stint for a hamstring strain. Phillies reliever Orion Kerkering is out with a hamstring issue, but superior lineup depth, historical head-to-head dominance, and early-season momentum (4-3 record vs. Rockies' 2-5) shape trader consensus favoring the visitors in the hitter-friendly confines, where mild winds and cool temperatures minimally impact play.
