Aleksandar Vukic, ranked No. 93 with a modest 6-9 YTD record, faces a stern test against local wildcard Taha Baadi (No. 593, 4-8 YTD) in the Grand Prix Hassan II first-round on outdoor clay in Marrakech. Vukic's career ATP clay mark stands at 5-13, reflecting struggles on the surface amid recent hard-court qualifying exits in Miami and Indian Wells. Baadi, a Moroccan right-hander, gains home-crowd edge and familiarity from prior Marrakech appearances, though his form remains ITF/Challenger-level. No ATP head-to-head exists, no injuries reported, and clear weather forecast favors baseline rallies in this evenly poised opener scheduled for March 30.
