Mili Poljicak and Tom Gentzsch meet in the ATP Challenger Split final on clay courts in Croatia, their first head-to-head encounter. The home-crowd favorite Poljicak (ATP ~396), a Croatian with a powerful serve and recent straight-sets wins over seeded opponents like Kimmer Coppejans in the semis, carries momentum from a deep run on familiar turf. Higher-ranked Gentzsch (ATP ~248) has been flawless, reaching the final without dropping a set through clinical baseline rallies and solid returning. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect the matchup; trader consensus reflects a tight contest balancing Poljicak's home edge and serving prowess against Gentzsch's consistency and ranking advantage on clay.
