Cameron Norrie enters as the higher-ranked player at No. 24 against No. 58 Miomir Kecmanovic in the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters Round of 64 on clay, holding a dominant 3-1 ATP head-to-head edge with victories in their last three meetings, including a straight-sets win at Queen's Club 2023. Norrie's baseline grinding style suits the slower Monte Carlo clay surface better than Kecmanovic's, who struggled with an early Miami Open exit last week after a competitive loss. Both appear fully fit post-Norrie's resolved preseason arm concerns, with no recent injury reports; the winner faces fifth seed Alex de Minaur next, adding stakes. Recent draw reveals no major upsets yet, but clay transitions often yield surprises in this ATP Masters 1000 opener.
