Sixth seed Vit Kopriva (ATP 60) faces qualifier Hamad Medjedovic (No. 115) in the Grand Prix Hassan II round of 32 on outdoor clay in Marrakech, where Medjedovic's momentum from winning the Naples Challenger title last week—capping a run with a 6-2, 6-4 final win over Daniel Altmaier—fuels trader interest in an upset. Kopriva, with a superior 16-9 clay record over the past year, reached Rio Open semis but exited early in Chile and Naples Challenger. Medjedovic leads their lone head-to-head 6-4, 6-2 on clay from Zadar 2023, highlighting stylistic edges on the surface despite Kopriva's ranking and serve advantages. No injury concerns reported ahead of this best-of-three set matchup.
