Sixth-seeded Luka Pavlovic (ATP 219) carries momentum into this San Luis Potosi Challenger clay-court first-round clash after reaching the semifinals in last week's Morelia Challenger, defeating Adam Walton and Alexis Galarneau before falling to Juan Pablo Ficovich. The Frenchman boasts a strong career clay record of 212-123 (63% win rate), bolstering trader consensus on his ranking edge over Andrew Fenty (ATP 436). Fenty, meanwhile, notched recent ITF-level wins over Iiro Vasa and Maximilian Homberg but enters with a modest 7-7 Challenger/ITF clay ledger and a recent final loss in Bakersfield. No head-to-head history exists; both appear fully fit with no reported injuries. Outdoor conditions in Mexico could favor Pavlovic's experience in extended rallies.
