Francisco Comesana holds a clear edge in trader consensus for this Rolex Monte Carlo Masters qualifying clash against home wildcard Romain Arneodo, driven by his ATP ranking near 82 versus Arneodo's unranked singles status as a doubles specialist. The 25-year-old Argentine boasts stronger recent clay form, including a gritty three-set win over Pedro Martinez in Santiago last month, leveraging baseline grinding suited to Monte Carlo's red clay. Arneodo, 33 and Monegasque, benefits from local support and past Monte Carlo experience but enters off singles losses to Frances Tiafoe and others in early 2026. No head-to-head history exists, with mild 13°C weather and no injury concerns noted ahead of their first-round clash on Court 2.
