World No. 14 Shin Yubin holds a clear edge over No. 58 Linda Bergstrom in this WTT Women's Singles matchup, reflecting trader consensus on the Korean's superior ITTF ranking, youth at 21, and aggressive right-hand shakehand attack that previously overcame the Swedish defender's chopping style—highlighted by Shin's 3-2 comeback quarterfinal win at WTT Contender Lagos 2023 and another victory in the 2025 ITTF Mixed Team World Cup. Shin recently reached the quarterfinals at WTT Champions Chongqing, defeating Zhu Yuling and Hashimoto Honoka before a 3-4 loss to Wang Yidi, while Bergstrom advanced to semifinals at the lower-tier WTT Feeder Otocec but exited early at Singapore Smash R64 and ETTU Europe Top 16 Cup R16. No injury reports alter the stylistic clash favoring the attacker.
