In the WTT Contender Tunis 2026 men's singles round of 16, trader consensus prices Hiroto Shinozuka at 50.5% implied probability against qualifier Evgeny Tikhonov (WR #184), balancing Shinozuka's higher WR #35 seeding and consistent form—including an emphatic round-of-32 win over Gabrielius Camara—with Tikhonov's surging momentum from sweeping three qualifiers and a stunning upset over the tournament's #7 seed Alvaro Robles in his main draw debut yesterday. No prior head-to-head exists, heightening uncertainty around stylistic matchup, with Tikhonov's aggressive shakehand play fueling upset potential while Shinozuka's experience could tip odds via superior consistency or error exploitation in this best-of-seven format.
