David Njoku enters the final year of his Browns contract in 2025 amid Cleveland's 2-7 start and Deshaun Watson's season-ending Achilles injury, fueling trader consensus that the rebuilding franchise won't retain the 28-year-old tight end for 2026-27. New England Patriots and Chicago Bears lead at 49.8% and 49.5% implied probabilities, reflecting their shared needs for reliable pass-catchers to support young quarterbacks Drake Maye and Caleb Williams—both offenses rank low in tight end production and weapons overall. The razor-thin gap underscores balanced appeal: Patriots' cap space and coaching stability versus Bears' draft capital and offensive line upgrades. Dolphins trail at 39% on Tua Tagovailoa's reliance on versatile tight ends, while Browns sit at just 4.5% amid cap constraints and roster turnover signals post-trade deadline.
