Trader consensus in the Terrebonne by-election heavily favors Parti Québécois candidate Tatiana Auguste at 61.5%, reflecting recent Léger and Abacus Data polls showing her lead expanding to 12-15 points over Coalition Avenir Québec's Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné (38.5%). Key drivers include voter fatigue with the governing CAQ amid inflation concerns and healthcare debates, boosting PQ support in the Lanaudière region, alongside Auguste's strong local organizing and debate performances. Minor candidates like Liberal Benjamin Rankin, Québec Solidaire's Maria Cantore, independent Adrienne Charles, and Maxime Beaudoin trail due to limited visibility and funding. The November 5 vote looms as the next catalyst, with turnout potentially swaying tight margins.
